help settle a friendly debate

Ok, me and my friend were having a friendly debate tonight and I was curious about getting some outside opinions on the subject....

Which is more of a sport, cheerleading or partnership dancing?

I'm not definately not talking down cheerleading I just feel that dancing is more physically and mentally demanding than cheerleading. What does everyone else think?

I think both are equally a sport, cheerleading (to be blunt) would be more of a solo-but-still-in-sync-with-the-rest-of-the-team-thing and partnerdancing more of a team-but-still-trying-to-show-individuality-thing. Both are very very hard to do and I admire those who can pull it off
